Bavaria 47

This model Bavaria 47 was produced in the late 1990's and early 2000's and is a good roomy 47ft yacht, and compared to the latest models is often a very cost effective option. It is ideal for groups where there are a number of singles or perhaps two families sharing, and can accommodate up to 11 (assuming the licence allows). It has two good sized doubles in the stern, and then in the forward section, it has two V-Shaped cabins with a medium sized double and a permanent single bunk over the outer side of the double. This arrangement means that this cabin can be used by two singles that do not want to share the double berth, or is even suitable for three children or teenagers, although it would be a tight fit for three large adults. There is also a single berth in the main saloon.

The yacht has an easily managed sail plan with many models having in mast furling and a large cockpit with twin wheels, giving easy access between them to the generous sized swim platform.
