All of these particular packages are based from Murter
Island in Croatia. All sample prices are based on using local self
catering apartments, usually Jasnas or Brancas, and on yachts from our in house
fleet. "Sample A " type packages can also be created using boats from the
Bareboat/flotilla fleet for anybody requiring alternative yachts. You can view
more details on the apartments and Murter Island here
Sample A
One week ashore in self-catering apartment with use of Day Sailing Boat for
three days. Second week afloat skippering a yacht on flotilla. The sailing week
and accommodation week can be in either order, and the day boat can be pre
booked for more than the three days provided, or subject to availability, booked for extra days when on site. This is an ideal combination for groups or families where you want a two week holiday but do not want to spend it all on a yacht. Many people choosing this option also choose to rent a car for one or more days, and these are arranged locally.
Sample B
One week Learn to Sail a yacht whilst on
flotilla and second week stay ashore in self-catering apartment with use of Day
Sailing boat for three days.
The sailing week and accommodation week can be in either order, and the
day boat can be pre booked for more than the two days provided, or subject
to availability taken for extra days when on site. This is probably the
most suitable holiday for families or groups that are new to yacht sailing.
Sample C
One week Learn to Sail a yacht whilst on flotilla and
second week skipper the same yacht as part of the flotilla. Both weeks based on
a 31 ft yacht (First 305 or Elan 31) except for couples who may be on a
different shared yacht for the tuition week. This package is normally only
suited to groups with some previous relevant boating experience. For larger
families or groups with sufficient prior experience, a bigger yacht can be used.
This holiday provides an excellent way to learn as not only do you get a weeks
tuition, but you also get a weeks experience skippering on your own, and we
generally encourage all potential skippers interested in this option to aim to
take their ICC as part of this holiday.
